Samuel is a bundle of energy who loves nothing more than playing outside with his two sisters.

When Samuel first entered the NDIS, he was virtually non-verbal. He was almost four at that stage, and now a year on he communicates with full sentences and is initiating conversations with his school friends.

The NDIS has meant Samuel’s parents, Kerrie and Michael could choose and tailor the supports that would best serve his needs. They were able to engage speech and occupational therapists, a physiotherapist and an allocated educator to help him develop like other children his age.

“Our entire NDIS experience has been great. Samuel has come such a long way and he’s doing really well, and the peace of mind the NDIS gives you is just fantastic,” Kerrie said.

With the improvements in Samuel’s confidence and social skills, the NDIS is opening up a world of possibilities for his future.
