The NDIS is helping Megan do the things she loves. She is now able to set life goals and select supports that assist achieving those goals. One of her biggest passions is travelling. Megan’s next travel goal is to cruise through the Panama Canal, followed by some relaxing in Mexico.
Megan has a very rare condition called Dandy Walker syndrome which is a congenital brain malformation. To keep her brain active, Megan does puzzles, and of course world map puzzles being her favourite.
“The NDIS has enhanced my life by way of paying for my supports”, says Megan.
Megan loves meeting new people and being social and has never let her disability stop her from doing things she loves to do. She travels to the city for work from her Dee Why home every day. She also enjoys swimming and playing games on her iPad. She uses the NDIS to receive services that help her live life her way.
